Founded in late 2023, TENUEM is a five-piece Symphonic Deathcore band from Enschede, the Netherlands. Inspired by Lorna Shore, Shadow of Intent, and The Black Dahlia Murder, they combine aggressive riffing, dark melodic lines, cinematic orchestration, and emotional depth into a distinctive blackened sound.
Their music combines deathcore heaviness with cinematic layers of strings, choirs, and orchestral textures. These elements are a core part of the songwriting, giving each track a wide and film-like character.
Formed from a shared goal to push heavy music beyond pure aggression, each member brings influences from modern symphonic metal to classic metalcore and extreme metal. Their collaborative writing process combines layered guitars, orchestration, and rhythmic experimentation to create dense, dark compositions.
On September 7, 2024, they released their debut EP Singraven, which was received positively within the metal scene and established their signature blend of deathcore brutality and cinematic storytelling.
Their second EP, Beneath the Field ov Bones, released on September 1, 2026, builds on that foundation with a darker atmosphere, more ambitious compositions, richer orchestration, and a more powerful production, making it their most complete work to date.
